Our Health Meadow – Ein Dôl Iechyd

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is developing an innovative new space at its University Hospital Llandough site.

Our Health Meadow – Ein Dôl Iechyd will bring to life the vision of a community orchard to the fields surrounding the hospital site. The Health Board is working with partners to establish this innovative project which is believed to be the first of its kind at a hospital site in the UK.

Our goal is to establish an ecological community health park which aims to benefit wildlife, plants and people through positive human environment interaction.

Our Health Meadow – Ein Dôl Iechyd will benefit patients, staff, visitors and the wider community and will be funded entirely through donations made to the Cardiff & Vale Health Charity.

Mae Bwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Caerdydd a’r Fro yn datblygu ardal newydd arloesol ar safle Ysbyty Athrofaol Llandochau.

Bydd Ein Dôl Iechyd yn dod â’r weledigaeth o greu perllan gymunedol yn fyw i’r caeau sy’n amgylchynu safle’r ysbyty. Mae’r Bwrdd Iechyd yn gweithio gyda phartneriaid i sefydlu’r prosiect arloesol hwn a chredir mai dyma’r cyntaf o’i fath ar safle ysbyty yn y DU.

Ein nod yw sefydlu parc iechyd ecolegol i’r gymuned gyda’r bwriad o gynnig manteision i fywyd gwyllt, planhigion a phobl trwy ryngweithio cadarnhaol rhwng bodau dynol a’r amgylchedd.

Bydd Ein Dôl Iechyd o fudd i gleifion, staff, ymwelwyr a’r gymuned ehangach a chaiff ei ariannu’n llwyr trwy gyfraniadau a wneir i Elusen Iechyd Caerdydd a’r Fro.
